Thought Lounge is a student organization which started in UC Berkeley before expanding to other college campuses and beyond. But in its most basic form, a thought lounge can happen anywhere. A thought lounge is a gathering of 4 to 6 people, often strangers, with each person bringing a topic for the group to discuss, whether it be a profound thought or a simple question.

As a member of this organization for all four years of college, I had the honor of designing the club's first logo. Its clean and minimal design lets the mission of the organization speak for itself. Its modern aesthetic makes it familiar for its demographic of mostly college students (although many participants fall outside of that category as well). Its simple color scheme allows the logo to have multiple themes for different situations. The thought bubble icon can stand on its own as a logo, while symbolizing the organization's encouragement of knowledge and wonder.
